Alex loves turning design challenges into functional, aesthetically pleasing spaces for her clients to enjoy. She credits her passion for interior beauty to watching her mother create a gorgeous home for years growing up. It wasn’t until she managed her own home remodel in Denver, Colorado that she realized her love of design needed to become her profession.
After majoring in biology and working in laboratory research, Alex recognized something essential was missing from her life’s work. When Alex’s contractor unexpectedly dropped out of their renovation project, she stepped into the opportunity and found her destiny. With the support of her husband, she decided to harness her creativity and pursue a formal, technical education in interior design with a specific focus on kitchen and baths.
Alex loves using her extensive mathematical and organizational skills to innovate visually pleasing and functional solutions that enhance her clients’ lives. She boldly uses her heart and her mind to design peoples’ dreams while thoughtfully applying her discipline in time management and detailed communication to ensure the smoothest project delivery possible.
She feels that her remodel and life experiences enable her to relate to clients and support them throughout renovation projects. Her personal design style is clean, crisp, and trendy, but she always designs foremost for her clients’ wants and needs. Alex’s greatest reward is knowing the joy her clients will experience in their new spaces – and building lifelong relationships within her community.
Moving from Denver to Jacksonville created fresh possibilities for Alex, and she believes Florida is perfect place to establish her career and family. Alex loves working on Natalie’s team at Kitchen Envy, because the clients always come first, and spaces are rigorously designed for beautiful, practical use. Each day, she feels fortunate to live her dream and apply the art and science of design to the home’s most important spaces, kitchens and baths.
